Military Simulation
Squad
Squad is the closest thing to actual military operations you'll find in a game. Communication, logistics, and tactical positioning matter more than your K/D. I've been playing since launch and it still surprises me.

Ground Vehicle Operations in Squad
Armor, logistics, and not getting your crew killed in the first five minutes.

Advanced Helicopter Operations in Squad
Combat flying, coordinated air assaults, and not dying on extract.

Helicopter Basics in Squad
Stop crashing into trees. Here's how rotary wing actually works.

Infantry Movement and Positioning in Squad
How you move is how you survive. Most people move wrong.
Mad Bomber's Take
Honest Opinion
Squad is not for everyone. If you want to run around solo and frag out, go play something else. If you want to coordinate a 50-player assault on a fortified position with actual logistics support — welcome home. This is the game I recommend to every adult gamer who asks me what to play.

Gear for Squad

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro
Dual-wireless, active noise cancellation, and a hot-swap battery system. This is the headset I actually use. The audio positioning in Squad is genuinely better with this thing.

LG 27GP850-B 27" 1440p 165Hz
1440p at 165Hz is the sweet spot for tactical gaming. High enough resolution to see threats at distance, fast enough refresh to track movement. This is what I run.
